Our Staff
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus
for good works, which God prepared beforehand
that we should walk in them”
Ephesians 2:10
Working Together
Volunteers are the hands of the Christ For Me ministry. People give of their time to help in various ways. One volunteer opens the mail so it can be processed for each student. Another pulls new lessons to be included with those to be graded. Others serve as teachers who grade, comment, and answer questions from the our students. Of these teachers, one grades all of the Spanish lessons. Several work in the office doing tasks such as stamping lessons, folding tracts, data entry, and helping with projects. Most of our volunteers are senior citizens who want to help in establishing the individual in the Word of God. Perhaps you or someone you know would like to help by volunteering. If you live in the Tahlequah, Oklahoma area and would like to help, please contact us.
The Christ For Me staff consists of three full-time and one part-time ministry workers. Freida Goossen is the president. She keeps lessons ordered or printed, monitors the finances, and promotes the ministry.
Barbara Andrews is the Mailbox Ministry Coordinator. It is her joy to daily process the mail, update each student in the database, and enter grades to the system.
John Hoverson is our chaplain for the prison ministry. He travels to various facilities in Northeast Oklahoma.
