In the Attic, Allie sorted through the box. Inside she found Bible Challenge #3. Are you up for the challenge? To be victorious, first read Genesis 3:1-24. The text used is from the New King James Version of the Bible. It may take you some time to finish this one. Have fun! Once you have finished, then Allie will check to see if you have all of the answers right. If you do, then your name will be placed on the Bible Challenge #3 Champion's List.

Have you ever thought of what the garden of (DEEN) must have looked like? The (LIBBE) says there were (URFIT) trees of all types. Probably (VEE) walked through the garden finding just the right fruit for Adam every day.

One of the animals, the (ERSPNET) was a very clever creature. He allowed God's enemy, (NATAS), to use him in a wicked way. He was so (ETUABFIUL), he could easily catch the attention of Eve as she was gathering fruit.

"Eve," he called to her. "Over here, I have a (QTEUSINO). Did I understand right? Did God really say that you could (OTN) eat all the fruit in this garden?"

"We may eat the fruit from any tree in the garden, except the one in the (DDIMLE)," she answered. "We are not to even (OUTCH) or eat of it, or God said we will certainly die."

"You will not die," the serpent remarked. "God knows that the day you eat that fruit, your (YEES) will be opened and you will be like God!"

Eve looked closer at the tree in the middle of the garden. The more she (OOKLDE), the more she (ANWTDE) to taste it. She (OSCHE) a piece of fruit for herself and for (DAMA).

Crunch, crunch. Soon they both had eaten the (ROBDDIFNE) fruit. As soon as they finished, they both (EALRIEDZ) they were not wearing any clothes. Immediately, they sewed together (GIF) leaves for a covering.

As (EVNEGIN) came, they heard the familiar sound of the Lord coming to walk with them. Adam and Eve (DIH) among the trees.

"Where are you?" God called to Adam.

Adam answered, "I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I am naked."

"Who (LDOT) you that you were naked? Have you eaten the fruit of the tree that I (MMANDCOED) you not to?" God asked.

Adam blamed Eve for his disobedience. Eve blamed the serpent. But God knew each one chose to disobey. Their actions caused sin to enter the world. God (PNUISHDE) the serpent by taking its beauty away and making it (LISHTRE) on the ground. He told Eve that all women would have a hard time in childbirth and be servants to men. He told Adam that he would have to work and sweat for the food that he ate.

God killed an (MANILA) and made clothing for both Adam and Eve. After He provided for them, He (ENST) them out of the garden. He didn't want them to eat of the Tree of (FLIE). He promised one day He would provide for the penalty of sin so that all could freely be with Him again.
