I learned a new verse. It's found in Mark 16:15 and it says, "And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." That means that God wants me to tell others about Him. Since I want to obey God, I need to do what He tells me. But you know, sometimes I get scared that I won't know what to say. Sometimes I'm afraid that others will make fun of me, too. But God promises that He will always be with me.

I want to tell my friend, Andy about the Lord Jesus. So, I'm going to do what I can, and I'll keep you informed about how things are going. Well, I better go for now. You take care, and check back later, okay?

I've been reading a little bit about prayer. Did you know that prayer is very important? It is talking with God. Sometimes I tell God all kinds of things. I tell Him when I am sad. It helps to talk to God. He hears me, and He makes me feel better. Other times, I am so happy that I just want to praise God for what He is doing. He likes it when we praise Him. I might sing a song, or just tell Him how great I think He is.

Do you ever talk to God? You can do it anywhere you are, you know. You can even just talk to Him in your thoughts. He hears everything we think. So if you are in the middle of a test at school, you can just think a prayer to Him. He hears you. He is God.

Dear God -- Thank You for hearing my every prayer. Help me always to be obedient to what You tell me to do. Thank You for being such a great God. Amen.

Hi! At the end of each year, I think about where I've been. This year, I've travelled more than normal. First, Ron and I spoke at an Awana in Arkansas and a school chapel in Tahlequah. Then, in July, Ron, Freida and I went on this really long trip. First we travelled to Saskatoon, SK in Canada visiting friends and relatives along the way. From there, we went to Spokane, WA. Then, we travelled toward home spending a few days in Yellowstone Park. It was an awesome trip. We saw the awesomeness of God's creation -- like the overflowing abundance of cherries at the orchard in Spokane. Those cherries reminded me of how abundant God's compassion is -- it is overflowing to us through Jesus. My prayer for you in the new year is that you will seek to know His compassion and mercy.
